Team three took advantage of upcoming events by theming their fantastic evening of entertainment on The Eland Olympics! Providing cuisine from all over the world, including pancakes and maple syrup, olives and hummous, and some Pakistani Tapas that proved to be a hit!
The team put together a range of competitive games, and although they were slightly scaled down from the actual Olympics, shot putting, quoits and a three-legged race proved quite challenging enough for us.
Kim and Darren wowed us with their sporting prowess taking away the prizes for Best Sportswoman and Sportsman respectively.
With a fun-packed evening and some excellent nibbles, Team Three managed to swipe the lead from Team One with a score of 36.6!

The Friday Challenge is still on and the teams are surpassing each other by showing great creativity. The competition is definitely fierce and Team Two took a chance at rivalling the glitz and glamour of Sin City.
Forget the Bellagio! Eland Cables was transformed into a Las Vegas casino with all the necessary ingredients to save you flying across the pond. Roulette, black jack and delicious snacks made up the recipe for success that Romina, Anthony, Mark Knowles, Mark Woodhams, Kim and Balazs concocted for guaranteed entertainment.
Liz from Sales was the big winner of the night and once again, Romina, the Export Team first lady, wowed us with her fancy dress take on Vegas showgirls. Team Two only scored 26.2 points so Team One is still ahead. Stay tuned to see what Team Three has in store for us!

The battle of the Titans has commenced and only the best will survive. For the next five months, Eland’s teams will battle it out to get the votes of their fellow colleagues and win the “Best Host” title.
The first team to enter the ring gave us a taste of regression with their Back to School theme. They supplied fluorescent jelly, nibbles and all the sweet stuff we loved as children. James – from the Sales Team – went in for the win with the apple-bobbing contest and Romina – from the Export Team – sported a very daring schoolgirl costume. Team One definitely supplied top-notch entertainment and set the bar really high. Congratulations to Tracy, Chloe, Ana, Veronika and Darren for reaching an outstanding score of 35.8 points. Bring it on Team Two!
